@therealrthorat @ConservaTex @mtaibbi There were attempts at diplomacy before the conflict began and after it started. President Biden shut it all down. The US/EU/NATO provided the weapons and training for what was always an unwinnable war. Much blood is on them too for manipulating Ukraine to fight a proxy war.
Most of these figures are old weapons that we had to pay to maintain. Modern weapons were provided under a new Lend-Lease Act. Actual $ figures are much lower. 60% of that money stays in the US for contractors etc. 25% goes to Ukraine. 15% for logistics.
