I recently booked a trip to New York and stayed at a hotel on 32nd street in Midtown that was $115 a night plus taxes and a $60 fee so $505 total for 3 nights. Definitely do-able on a budget. There have been a lot of new buildings with observation decks built in the last few years so there’s a ton of options now, One Vanderbilt, Hudson Yards …
