The lower the score the better the value. For each car I was considering, I calculated the Car Value Score. I ended up buying a 2011 Chevy Impala with 80,000 miles for $1900. The Used Car Value Score was only 15.2, much lower than the other cars I was considering, most of which had scores from 30-55.
