Whenever you here about 100 billion to Ukraine or 17 billion to Israel what you’re lsrgely talking about is us sending weapons and vehicle. So YES that is money out of my pocket directly donated to American defense contractors for countries we haven’t even declared war on. pic.twitter.com/3l5nileJI2

Expired ATACMS won’t do much good for the homeless. Not to mention letting Ukraine use the old weapons is cheaper than the cost to demilitarizing them. And if you want to prevent bigger & deadlier wars then providing our old / outdated equipment to Ukraine is a no brainer.

The Ukrainian government has not commented on the general’s death. In October, the UK imposed sanctions on Mr Kirillov, saying he oversaw the use of chemical weapons in Ukraine and was “an important mouthpiece for Kremlin disinformation”.

A source in Ukraine’s SBU said Mr Kirillov was a “legitimate target”, claiming he had committed war crimes. Yesterday, the SBU charged Mr Kirillov, 54, in absentia. On Telegram, the organisation said it was “responsible for the mass use of banned chemical weapons”.
