The goal is a war of attrition to essentially defang the Russia for decades. NATO know there is no scenario in which Ukraine achieves anything resembling a ‘victory’. It’s about killing as many soldiers and destroying as many weapons and vehicles as possible.

Massive government spending is done for corporations.
The money that goes to Ukraine is them buying our weapons, a feedback loop of corruption.
