The European Commission has announced that it will allocate €170 million to countries neighbouring Russia and Belarus in order to enhance protection of their borders. Poland is set to receive €52 million, the biggest share from the pool. Brussels says that the funds are intended to “bolster capacity to counter hybrid threats”, in particular the “weaponisation of migrants” by Russia and Belarus “as a political tool to destabilise EU society by exploiting the EU’s principle of right to asylum”. The commission has also indicated that member states can, in certain circumstances, introduce measures that “may entail serious interferences with fundamental rights such as the right to asylum”

EU countries are discussing a €500bn joint fund for common defence projects and arms procurement, tapping bond markets to boost spending in anticipation of Donald Trump’s White House return. Trump’s threat to withdraw US security guarantees from underspending Nato allies has spurred European capitals to explore more radical defence funding options, including joint borrowing that has traditionally been ruled out by fiscal hawks in Germany, the Netherlands and Denmark. Senior European officials discussing the plan are now focused on setting up a financing vehicle for defence, which would issue bonds backed by national guarantees from participating countries rather than the EU as a whole. And he committed to place orders with US defense contractors for $1.22 billion from money allocated by Congress in April 2024

Russians are RIGHT!! Trump wants to postpone the Ukraine into NATO for 20 years.. it gives NATO to collect weapons and start a new war with Russia .. Russians are not stupid and Putin will be doing everything for Russia… and it’s not your business to give him advice .. ok?? He is smarter as all American Presidents together .. you don’t have any clue what he is done for Russia.. hope Trump will repeat his success in US, but I’m doubt .. deep state didn’t give him a chance during a first presidency .. will see now
