obsolete stock sent to Ukraine is replaced by USA produced weapons for use by USA – if Trump cuts aid to Ukraine it will have a direct knock on adverse effect on jobs in the USA + US military capacity. The direct cost of military aid to Ukraine for USA is minimal – a sunk cost.

Yes. No one can tell you what those Billions of $ were used for in Ukraine. A lot of the weapons they received were either donated or on credit.
