Research how the budget allocates money. Money for disasters comes from FEMA. Money to Ukraine is in the form of weapons and represents less than 2% of our military budget. Also, the money to produce these weapons goes to the U.S. companies producing them which helps the economy.

Ukraine gave up nuclear weapons for independence, Russia signed, as again in 1997 and UN Charters, of course the West should have done far more when realizing how Putin since 2004 was subverting Donbas and occupied Crimea.
