The entire thing is a money laundering scheme for foreign governments and US politicians. How do US citizens benefit if we pay to produce the weapons then just hand the weapons over to Ukraine? Zelenskyy has already come out several times and said all the money we’ve given them…

I agree with you that switching domestic manufacturing in the US to weapons production for the purpose of fighting a war with China is different than Russia fighting Ukraine. Just saying the dual use framing sometimes makes sense. imo there is no winner in a war with China anyway
