russia has effectively stolen most western business that have remained there. The russian assets have been seized will be turned over to Ukraine for rebuilding or hopefully sooner to buy weapons

I agree with the need for missile defense systems and more artillery, but if you want Ukraine to win, as they must, any weapons supplied should have NO restrictions other than not to target civilians like Russia does.

The Ukrainians have many thousands of Type 56-1s in their possession, after the United States delivered seized weapons which were originally meant for the Houthis. These too aren’t at the front. Ukraine and Russia mostly use 7.62x39mm rifles during training. Helps logistics.

The USA is a larger economy and we are consumers. Finally, nobody trusts China. As volatile as Trump might appear to some, the USA is the long term play. China isn’t anyone’s friend. Europe won’t forget that they are supplying Russia with weapons for Ukraine.
