The sequence of tenses (known in Latin as consecutio temporum, and also known as agreement of tenses, succession of tenses and tense harmony) is a set of grammatical rules of a particular language, governing the agreement between the tenses of verbs in related clauses or sentences.

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) reiterated its strong advisory against Indian nationals joining the Russian Army on Thursday. Several of the men had gone to Russia on study visas, enrolling in Russian language courses at Moscow State Linguistic University (MSLU). Many took up part-time construction or restaurant jobs to support themselves.
