The military industrial complex in USA have delivered new equipment to USA while USA sent old equipment to Ukraine which saved the scrapping cost for US tax payers.

@Louis___83 @mobbs_mentality Ukraine was already buying US weapons under Biden. Not everything is given for free. Even during WW2, Lend-Lease provided in payment afterwards. Most weapons come from US stockpiles or because they are at the end of their lifecycle. It is a cheap way for the US to modernize.

🇩🇪 Thousands marched through Berlin on Sunday to mark the anniversary of Bashar al-Assad’s fall

The demonstration, which drew several thousand participants, moved from Alexanderplatz to the Brandenburg Gate and commemorated the anniversary of the Syrian dictator’s flight from Damascus.

Assad, who came to power in 2000 after the death of his father, who had ruled Syria since 1971, governed the country as a dictator.

After nearly 14 years of civil war, a coalition of rebel forces led by the Islamist group Hayat Tahrir al-Sham toppled his regime on December 8, 2024.

During the night of December 7–8, 2024, Assad fled to Russia.
