5 a) Define stagnation pressure and explain the principle of Pitot tube in measuring flow velocity. A pitot tube is placed at the center of a 200mm diameter pipe conveying water (Fig. Q5a). The pressure difference between point 3 and point 4 is measured and the reading is 38mm water. Determine the velocity of flow.
