When USSR dissolved Ukraine gave up its nuclear weapons for guarantees of independence by NATO (& US) and Russia. Russia invaded. NATO (& US) have a duty to honor. Also, we want Russian troops on east Ukraine border, not the west, next to Poland, & Putin attacking Central Asia.
