There’s an actual peace deal paired with mineral rights. All the prior funding was for Ukraine to fight Russia.

US has a mineral deal for rocks it can’t get, since most deposits are in Russian territory. Low grade in the resr. Rocks the US doesn’t have the infrastructure to process. But Trump can now “sell” weapons to Nazi Ukraine against future “payments”. America first or some such.
