It looks like Golden State Arms filled in the Widow’s Peak recess on the heel of the stock with a fitted piece of Walnut, and then flattened the butt for the recoil pad. It’s solid work. My only gripe is a slight issue with feeding, but I’m going to pull the magazine box and polish the feed ramp, that will probably help.
