Ukraine gave up nuclear weapons in return for US support. I think it is far to say that if the US won’t provide that support then every country that can should now be building up a nuclear arsenal.

Makes me sad to see Ukraine blaming the US for their loss. Russia violated the integrity of the agreement, not the US. The US imposed sanctions on Russia, gave billions in aide to Ukraine, and supplied them with weapons and intelligence. That means we fulfilled our part.
