Agree, but with one correction: Ukraine is not freeloader – they are at war and just need some help. If they had those nuclear weapons that we forced them to give up (in exchange for help and protection) they would not be in this war then.

Yes probably, also severely limited Europes attempts to aid Ukraine for the first two years, which is why no Euro’s will be buying American weapons for the current rearmament, do not need strings from unpredictable and untrustworthy USA.
