In the Budapest Memorandum on Security Assurances, the US, UK and Russia also promised to respect the sovereignty of Ukraine in exchange for Ukraine surrendering post soviet nuclear weapons.

How is it hard to understand , that with performances or protests war cannot be win and instead France have to supply necessary weapons to Ukraine! Unfortunately in Europe they don’t really care about freedom or fighting for it.

The Budapest Memorandum. In 94, Ukraine surrendered all of their nuclear weapons in exchange for promises of non-aggression, and support in case of invasion from the UK, Russia, and the US.
Russia has betrayed that, obviously.
The US is still obligated to provide support.
