Russia has been updating Cold War military kit and is also producing for the conflict in Ukraine. Its weapons are cheaper than western equipment and so it sells equipment into other conflict zones too.

This seems like a price too high for a application into NATO. Do you think Zelensky or the Ukrainian people think it would be worth it.
NATO expansion was always a redline. Russia and Ukraine should hold peace talks. More weapons will only bring more loss of life.
