A 54-year-old illegal Sudanese migrant has been arrested in Toulouse, France, after carrying out a series of sexual assaults against girls and young women on the same public bus route over nearly three years.

According to prosecutors, the alleged attacks took place between December 2023 and June 2026 on a route linking Arènes metro station to the International School of Colomiers, with the suspect targeting women and girls traveling alone.

At least three victims have filed formal complaints. One of them was just 14 years old at the time of the alleged assault, while the others were young adult women. Students had been warning one another about the suspect on social media before his arrest.

Europe has recently seen a slew of cases of Sudanese migrant violence as well as a growing wave of asylum seeker arrivals from Sudan as the civil war there has entered its 4th year of war without an end in sight.

One of the fighting sides, the Muslim Brotherhood-allied Sudanese Armed Forces has been imposing strict Islamist policies and instilling a hatred for “unbelievers” in the population in the areas they control.

Apart from just the local chapter of the Muslim Brotherhood, Turkey, the Islamic regime in Iran and Qatar have all also been strengthening their Islamist allies in Sudan. Meanwhile, the EU has done little to nothing to stop this new wave of Sudanese migration to Europe.
