The Kherson, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Odesa, Kharkiv, Zhytomyr, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, and Chernihiv regions also came under attack overnight. There are injured people in the regions, including children. Apartment buildings, private homes, and infrastructure facilities were damaged. Everyone injured is receiving the necessary medical care.
Every day, Russia uses about 220 guided aerial bombs against our frontline communities, which the aggressor’s defense industry continues to produce and modify despite sanctions. Pressure is needed on every supply chain for foreign components and every enterprise working to enable strikes against lives. Russian missiles, bombs, and drones can be stopped not in our skies, but at the production stage. I thank everyone whose additional sanctions measures are helping make this possible.
Care4Calais says its volunteers distributed more than 162,000 items to nearly 30,000 illegal migrants, including 2,221 Vodafone SIM cards, 3,765 hoodies, 3,532 pairs of joggers and 1,174 T-shirts.
Around Calais, the charity also distributed 1,173 “Ramadan food packs,” 2,770 cold-weather “snug packs” containing hats, neck warmers and gloves, and 1,169 weatherproof garments.
At British military bases housing asylum seekers, Care4Calais reportedly held 80 drop-in sessions and 17 large-scale distribution sessions providing around 23,000 items.
The charity also provides free haircuts, phone charging, English lessons and bicycle and sewing repairs, while “new arrival packs” were provided to around 1,800 people arriving on England’s South Coast.
