It’s not really comparable. The US had a standing written agreement with Ukraine that we would provide support in case of attack in exchange for Ukraine getting rid of their nuclear weapons. Can’t really blame democrats for Russia invading a sovereign nation.

the UK signed the budapest memorandum, if the UK didn’t advocate for Ukraine to demilitarize especially in the nuclear sector then this might’ve been avoided completely, now here we are, Ukraine is being attacked by the same weapons it gave away 30 years ago
