Ok. We got what we wanted out of the war against Russia. Now its just icing on the cake. Europe can send purchae orders for new weapons and countiue that fight. We already knew Ukraine would be sacrificed. The goal was to overextend Russia. So we did that.

Ah yes, 1776: that was the period of the War of Independence from Great Britain; the war that was won for the US by France, Spain & the Dutch Republic. Just like Ukraine today, the USA needed foreign aid to fight tyranny.

Budapest was a mistake: Ukraine lost nuclear weapons, long-range missiles, and aviation. Real security lies in reforms, a strong army, and weapons. No one will fight for Ukraine. The West isn’t ready for the idea of a strong Ukraine as a security pillar for Europe.
