I agree that europe needs to take care of itself. But Europe never ordered USA, it is more the other way around, Europe followed US, US was in the lead. tRump is bullying EU. bottom line US made Ukraine give up its weapons in for security (Budapest memorandum)

For a 30-day ceasefire to be effective, Russia said Ukraine had to halt mobilisation and re-armament, and America had to stop providing it with weapons and intelligence. There was no mention of Russia pausing its recruitment, halting its military production or stopping its lethal…

On Russia he has not achieved anything. If anything he made Ukraine weaker than before, incentivises Europe to rebuild its own weapons industry and reduce their American weapons purchases, and last but not least, Putin dictates the terms for ceasefires and such. Very dangerous.
