Three Moroccan migrants and an Italian-Irish man aged 19 to 23 have been jailed in Italy, accused of murdering 54-year-old Nicola Musiani in Pinarella di Cervia because he “stared too much” at them.
The suspects are Oussama Ragme, 22, Houssam Habir, 22, Bilal Mahboubi, 23, and Conor Finn Long, 19.
Ragme and Long traveled to Morocco after the attack before returning to Italy, where they were arrested.
On the night of the attack, a witness reported hearing someone in the group say: “Now we’ll get the junkie and kill him.”
Musiani was later chased and subjected to a sustained assault near the camper where he lived in a parking area on Viale Tritone. He suffered serious head and chest injuries, remained unconscious and died in hospital four days later.
